This list service is to be used as a vehicle for connecting mission pilots with other experienced AFW members willing to fly right seat with them. The purpose would be to help the less experienced pilot become familiar with mission procedures as well as to assist with the flight in any other way that would benefit the PIC and contribute to the successful completion of the mission. You should subscribe to this list ONLY if you are an experienced Angel Flight West mission PIC and this is something you would be willing to do. Mission pilots seeking a Mentor should email the list as described below.
Mission Pilots seeking a Mentor using N.CaMentors
Any current AFW N.Ca member who has completed mission orientation may post to this list. To post a message to all potential AFW Mentors, send an email to n.camentors@afwest.org. In it you should identify your home base, describe important mission details and provide your contact information.
Experienced AFW PICS offering to Mentor by subscribing to N.CaMentors
Subscribe to N.CaMentors by filling out the following form. You will be sent email requesting confirmation, to prevent others from gratuitously subscribing you. Once confirmation is received, your request will be held for approval by the list moderator. You will be notified of the moderator's decision by email. This is also a private list, which means that the list of members is not available to non-members. Your email address:   Your name (optional):   You may enter a privacy password below. This provides only mild security, but should prevent others from messing with your subscription. Do not use a valuable password as it will occasionally be emailed back to you in cleartext. If you choose not to enter a password, one will be automatically generated for you, and it will be sent to you once you've confirmed your subscription. You can always request a mail-back of your password when you edit your personal options. Once a month, your password will be emailed to you as a reminder.
